Bicycles + Chalk = the prettiest streets ever.

contrail
Studio Gelardi designed these awesome contraptions that attach to the back of your bike- leaving a beautiful trail of color behind all of our cyclists. I found this story via http://current.com/. I was working this morning on some new product designs- watching the CURRENT tv station- and saw a documentary about my home away from home, Gulu, Uganda (focusing on Invisible Children!). Anyway, I was struck by all the cool stuff they were covering on this channel (Mercy Ships, Invisible Children, and Bikes not Bombs). I decided to look up their website, and found a load of goodies. I am reminded today of all the good we are capable of doing- if we just get up and move- AND- all the beauty that this world possesses- if we just look around. Go to the site and get inspired. love.

the latest engagements!

So- this last week has been FULL of bridal portrait shoots- BUT- I can’t show you any of them because they’re wanting to keep their dresses a secret until the big day! But, I can show you these super fun shots from my engagement session with Tamara and Alex last Saturday. The four of us had a great time laughing, dancing, and jumping ; ) Enjoy! Have a great weekend- and go hug someone.

DOMINICA!!

So… we recently got back from our vacation in Dominica- and I thought you might want to see some of the photos. I’ve had the blessing of traveling a TON these past few years- and have been to some pretty amazing places- but Dominica is right at the top of my favorite’s list. For those of you that don’t know where it is- it’s in the Caribbean- in the Lesser Antilles- and is often referred to as “The Nature Island”. I have to say- it’s like the garden of Eden. Greener than I could’ve ever imagined- and the diving was so phenomenal! Shoot me an email if you ever need references of places to stay and visit!

my own sculpting weasel.

Ryan, my big brother, has been sculpting/carving these gorgeous wooden sculptures lately. You can’t tell the scale of most of these- but some are absolutely giant- although he can make them in any size or shape- and in a variety of price ranges. (Oh, and I included one of his mosaic pieces too!) If anyone is interested in having your own customized piece of wooden art- email me- and I’ll get him in contact with you! ENJOY!

Samuel Hadden = the cutest baby in Dallas.

So, I just got back from mommy/newborn training in Dallas, and NO I’m not expecting- just hanging out with one of my best girlfriends who had her first baby. My friend, Mindy, and her husband, Nathan, let me crash at their place for a few days- and enjoy their newest edition. Here are the first couple shots of this sweet boy. I haven’t edited all of them yet- so I’m sure I’ll have more posts soon…. Ah. SO CUTE.

Liz and Dave got hitched!

Here are some of the pics from the latest wedding we shot in Boerne… We had a fabulous time laughing at all of the girls dancing- and it took every ounce of self control to not jump in with them!
