Twilight Broadcast

Music lovers…. You need to check out Twilight Broadcast- I have a link to their website over on my music roll. Sara and I went to their show back in July and had such a fun time- great music- great people. Last week I actually got to take their promo shots- and here are a few from that shoot- running around a construction site and then later playing in the kiddie pool…. Check it.

Look around you. There are many things to see, that some would say could never be. These things I know. It’s true and I will tell you so. They are there to see, if you believe. Trolls and wizards and fairy kings, birds that talk and fish that sing. And if your heart is true, then you will find them, too. In every wish and dream and happy home, you will find a kingdom of the Gnomes.

uganda.

I will be leaving in about four weeks… moving to Uganda to work as a photojournalism intern for Invisible Children. Please keep all of us (Ugandans, NGO workers, IC staff, and IC interns) in your prayers. I urge all of you to visit IC’s website to learn more about this war that has been raging in Uganda for more than 20 years: (www.invisiblechildren.com). I am so excited to learn how another culture lives and loves… I can only imagine that through this war they have endured hardships that I know nothing about- but I am excited about the opportunity to witness their hope- I pray that it is alive and well. I will try my hardest to bring home images that stir up emotions in all of you- to be exposed to something that isn’t in your everyday lives. So that, even for a moment we will all take time to pray for one another.
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achiving for us an external glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Cor. 4:16-18
